Okay, so we're a little obsessed with organizing. And we love closets. So we thought we'd channel our obsession into something helpful: a list of ways to organize your bedroom closet.

Declutter. Use Discardian's Closet Trick (It's accepted wisdom that with very few exceptions, it's likely that clothing that you haven't worn in six months is clothing you will not wear again. It could be donated and used by someone who needs it.) to get rid of clothes you don't wear.

Store your most-used items in plain sight, less-used items below, and least-used items up high.

Use boxes, cubbies, shelves, or a hanging organizer to sort shoes. (I personally prefer to use stackable shoe boxes which has a photo of the shoes inside.)

Keep folded clothes or accessories neat with shelf dividers.

Make more room in your closet by storing out-of-season clothes in boxes up high or under the bed.

Color coding your wardrobe can make finding things easier (although it would be tough to pull out anything from these stacks of sweaters).
